At Friends Forever Pet Crematory, respectfully caring for your pet and giving you peace of mind are our primary concerns. There isn’t always time to prepare for these circumstances, but our staff wants you to know we are here for you when you need us and that we will handle your pet with the utmost dignity. We also encourage you to ask questions so that you can understand our services and be comfortable with your decision.
Our Services Include:
An individual tagging process throughout the entire cremation process to insure the identity of the remains
• A 100% guarantee that the remains returned to you are those of your pet
• Free pick-up and delivery in the River Valley area to local veterinary offices*
• An information packet of materials to help you cope with pet loss and grief
• Online memorials with a photo of your pet
• A full line of memorial urns, boxes, figurines, caskets and remembrance jewelry
*Pick-up charges will apply outside the River Valley, after normal business hours andon major national holidays.
Private Cremation
Our Most Requested Service
Private cremation insures that your pet is the only one in the cremation chamber at the time of cremation. Your pet’s ashes will be returned to you in a wooden urn within three business days. We will provide a hand-carved rosewood urn with the tree of life carved in the top. Also a 1×3 brass name plaque will be displayed on the side of the urn. Decorative and personalized urns are also available for purchase.
Friends Forever does not provide euthanasia services. You will need to call your pet’s veterinarian to determine what the best treatment for your pet will be. If your pet is euthanized and you wish to have your pet cremated, your veterinarian will contact us directly to care for your pet. The cremation fees will be charged by your veterinarian. If your pet passes away outside of the care of your veterinarian, contact us directly to make arrangements.
Private cremations are scheduled by appointment only.
Communal Cremation
A Cost Effective Alternative
This cremation is performed in aggregate without the option of the pet owner receiving the ashes. A small key chain urn with some ashes from the group cremation is available upon request for a nominal fee. At all times, your pet will be handled with dignity and respect. The cremains are returned to the earth under the supervision of the caring staff at Friends Forever.
